What is Groom Me?

In Groom Me, knitted woolly dogs come to your salon: scruffy, with holes in their coats, faded spots or loose stitches. You shampoo, blow-dry, brush and trim – and darn, patch and knit until every guest is whole again.

Then you pick a look and a neckerchief, the before-and-after picture goes into your album, and you spend coins and yarn to decorate your salon and expand it room by room. No account, no ads, with a relaxed mode and timing assistance.

How Groom Me plays

Groom with your finger

Shampoo, rinse, blow-dry, brush, trim and do the nails – glowing spots show you where to go next.

Mend and knit

Darn holes, close ladders, knit paws back on to the beat and stitch faded spots back in.

Your salon grows

Spend coins and yarn to decorate and expand, from the grooming room to the garden terrace.

What to expect

  • 8 woolly dogs with their own stories: Milo, Maple, Sunny, Otto, Bruno, Fini, Domino and Muffin
  • Groom and repair: shampoo, drying, brushing, trimming, nails, sewing, holes, ladders, button eyes and more
  • The knitting corner: knit hats, neckerchiefs and jumpers yourself
  • An atelier for your own looks and an album of before-and-after pictures
  • 72 decor pieces, 9 salon stages and 5 rooms to build
  • Daily gift, three daily tasks, a weekly chest and, in autumn, the Pumpkin salon (October 17 to November 2)
  • Relaxed mode, timing assistance and larger text

Screenshots of Groom Me

  • Before and after: a scruffy woolly dog in the salon and the same dog freshly groomed.

  • A paw is knitted back to the beat, with the tool bar for mending, shampoo, drying and nails below.
  • A Dalmatian woolly dog gets a new look with a patterned scarf, next to the eight woolly dogs.
  • The knitting corner: a hat for a guest takes shape to the beat of the needles.
  • The decorated salon with the golden needle awarded for clean repairs.
  • The unlock screen: buy once, then the whole salon with no ads and no subscription.

Groom Me: frequently asked questions

What does Groom Me cost?

You play the tutorial and six appointments for free. After that, the one-time purchase “The whole salon” unlocks everything: more appointments, the guests Domino and Muffin, the whole knitting corner (without buying, you can try it with a pair of socks), the later stories and new looks. Decorating, the album and the boutique work without buying too. There are no ads, no subscription and no yarn purchases; the App Store shows the price.

Do I need an account or internet?

No. Groom Me creates no account and works offline. It only talks to the App Store to show the price and purchase status, to buy and to restore.

How do I back up my progress?

In the settings, open “Help and progress” and tap “Export backup” under “Your progress”, then for example “Save to Files”. On a new device, choose “Import backup” there.

Why is there sound even with the silent switch on?

By default, Groom Me plays sound even when the silent switch is on. Change this in the settings under “Sound in silent mode”; music and game sounds have separate controls there.
