Help & contact

Last updated: October 11, 2026

Tell us what you did, what you expected and what happened instead. The version/build, device model and iOS version help reproduce an issue. Please do not send passwords, Apple sign-in details or complete purchase receipts.

In the app, open Settings → Save data, diagnostics & support → Share bug report. You choose where it goes. You can inspect and delete the optional local event log first. TestFlight also provides Apple’s Send Beta Feedback feature. Replies are by email; no fixed response time is promised.

Frequently asked questions

How do I start?

Choose training from the main menu. It introduces Rex, Mops, Laika and Brutus, enemy counters and your first freely planned wave. After training, the mission selection opens so you can choose and start your next mission. The mission map shows the next unlocked mission and its medal objectives.

Why is an enemy so hard to hit?

Open the Enemy Codex for shields, healing, phantoms and their counters. The tactics menu lets you choose targeting priorities and a specialization from level 2. Different waves call for different dog combinations.

How do I save a run?

Leave through Save and return to base. Resume loads the local solo checkpoint. A started daily run keeps its original contract and date. Training is a separate practice mode. If a save error appears, first retry saving and export a bug report.

How does co-op work?

Both devices need the same game version and local-network permission. One device hosts a lobby; the other joins. The host manages the game state. After a connection loss, an existing host co-op checkpoint can be offered again. Game Center online co-op and online leaderboards are disabled in beta 1.1 (19). A service-unavailable message does not mean your save is broken. Full testing with two physical devices is still pending.

What do styles and ads offer?

The campaign is free. Solar, Pirate and Chrome can be permanently unlocked for 180 in-game tokens each. If purchases are available, the Apple purchase sheet shows the actual price. There are no combat bonuses, subscriptions or loot boxes. Beta 1.1 (19) has no ad videos or ad rewards. All styles can be unlocked through play.

My purchase or ad reward is missing.

Use Restore purchases under Shop → Extras with the same Apple Account. Pending or unverified purchases do not unlock a style yet. Earned styles and purchases are separate. Ads are disabled in beta 1.1 (19). For a missing ad reward from an earlier beta, please include that build number. Send support your version, time and visible message, but never payment details or passwords.

How do I transfer or delete data?

In Settings → Save data, diagnostics & support, prepare an export file, share it yourself and import it later. Imports merge progress; an active run is not transferred. From version 1.1, you can also enable iCloud sync as described below. Deleting the app removes local app data; offloading keeps it. Delete export files and any iCloud data separately. See Delete data in the privacy policy for details.

How does iCloud work from version 1.1?

iCloud starts off. Enable Automatically save with iCloud in Settings to activate sync for your current Apple Account. Campaign and long-term progress then sync automatically at app launch, when progress changes and when you return to the app. Sync with iCloud now also lets you start a sync manually. Data are stored in your private CloudKit area; active runs stay on their device. Changing accounts disables automatic sync until you explicitly enable it again for the intended account. Turning sync off does not delete existing iCloud data.

Can I adjust readability and audio?

Settings offer German/English, reduced motion, contrast, subtitles and separate audio controls. With large accessibility text or VoiceOver, a list provides construction and combat actions. Full VoiceOver operation has not yet been verified. Your language choice applies to menus and subtitles; voice output stays in English.

BARK 1.1 (19) is available to invited testers through TestFlight. A public App Store download is not available yet. Menus and subtitles are available in German or English; AI-generated voices remain in English in both cases. This beta offers local co-op and optional iCloud sync for long-term progress. Game Center online co-op, online leaderboards and ads are disabled. Purchases depend on available store products. Device testing of purchases, iCloud and co-op, and full VoiceOver verification are not yet complete.
